Many areas of McCurtain County (including Beavers Bend Marina) have been experiencing terrible phone service from Pine Telephone over the past 2 months. It has severely and negatively impacted businesses in the Beavers Bend area. The only explanation we have been receiving from Pine Telephone is “its a nationwide issue”; however, we have not found this to be the case in other rural Oklahoma locations! If you are trying to contact any cabins or Beavers Bend Marina, please call Pine Telephone at 580.584.3355 and request they contact your party. Many land lines calling from long distance locations have not been connecting, but cell phones do sometimes work; BUT KEEP TRYING TO CALL. If you are trying to reach Beavers Bend Marina and can’t get thru, please come to the marina.
